A few of my favourite things.
Clock - gift from Danae and Devon one Christmas a few years back - this may have been the start of my clock obsession.
Flowers - I love, love, love flowers in my house. They make me happy.
Silver flower dish - there's probably some other proper name for it but I love this. It was my dad's mom's and I remember as a child being mesmerised by the steel grate that covers the bowl that the flowers go into. So cool. I am very thankful I inherited this little treasure.
Doily - I have many doilies - some my dad's mom crocheted and the others who knows where they're from - but to me they represent a little piece of my German Mennonite heritage and nostalgia.
Buffet - I bought this off trademe for $80. I like to think it's a valuable kauri wood antique but who knows - probably not. However I love it and daily contemplate whether I should ship it back to Canada.
Sunshine - I love how sunlight adds unexpected highlights to a photo.
And don't they all look lovely together?
